Tanto

I was always impressed at how handy it was for construction. That angled front portion is great for scraping, and the extra meat is great for people who want to pry with their knives.
The only thing that beats it is a Razel, one of the knives that has the chisel pointed front that's a full 90 degrees, perpendicular, from the primary edge.
However, I still like the good ole Americanized tanto in a not-too-tactical package.
It's rough, its tough, it has beefy geometry that can still do work but not be damaged/broken easily by overly enthusiastic non-knife users.
