This Tanto is a great size for all kinds of uses from bushcrafting, cutting leather, hunting and more. It is hollow ground from 3/16 inch thick 1095 carbon steel and heat treated by selectively hardening the edge to a hardness of about 60 RC while leaving the spine softer and very tough. The blade finish is modeled with a Dremel, blued then lightly sanded to produce a nice contrast. The wood scales are Wenge and loveless bolts with epoxy used to fasten them to the knifes full tang with brass lined lanyard hole. An 8/9 ounce tooled black leather pouch sheath with an integral belt loop comes with the Tanto.
