Steel: 52100, forged from round stock. The blade is hollow ground with a 10" wheel, the tip section is flat ground. Satin finish.

Hardness: 60 RC

Blade length: 9-3/4"

Total length: 14-1/2"

Blade thickness: 5/16" at guard

Handle material: resin soaked nylon wrap over burgundy stingray, with an osage orange core.

Fittings: stainless guard, and hidden stainless pin.

I think that is the most awesome looking Tanto I have seen. I love the grind and the stainless guard. A great looking knife that can hold up to some hard use. SwarthyGnome is a lucky man.
 
Wow, Phillip, that's a beauty. I think now that's TWO models (at least) of yours I need to get, the other of course being that reinterpreted Stiff Horn. Whew, a beauty! I know, I already said that.
