Tape to repair 72 in. cork belts

Anyone know where to find/buy the sort of tape used to make up 72 in. (or any length for that matter) grinding belts?
I have a couple of 2yr. or so, "unused" Klingspore cork belts that came apart at the weld two minutes into their first use on a machine. I'd like to at least try to re-tape them.

Try tech service at the abrasive suppliers they should be able to tell you and supply you if they want to


If you have no luck there, I'd try vhb tape
