This rustic knife is forged of 5160 from tip to tang including the palm swell and taper in the tang. The bevels are ground and the blade heat treated by selective hardening the edge and tempering to 58 Rc. The wood scales are tiger stripe maple, a very nice and period correct domestic wood, and sealed with Tung oil . My intent with this rustic knife is to produce a blade that looks 150 years old but one that has been taken very good care of.

Specs:

Blade Steel: .3 inch thick forged 5160 hardened to Rc 58

Blade Length: 6 inches tip to wood with hammer marks and forging scales left for character

Overall length: 11.2 inches

Handle: Tiger stripe maple on the knifes full tapered full tang

Sheath: 8/9 ounce tooled leather sheath with optional right or left carry (vertical carry loop included but not pictured).

SOLD Price: $130 plus $12 shipping in US

I Prefer PayPal (my account is kelley_ward2@agilent.com) but take other forms of payment

Hello krazykale69 and thanks for taking another one of my knives. I think you'll like the balance of this one even more. I got the payment and will have the knife in tomorrows mail. Kelley

Really enjoying both of these, though I haven't actually carried this one on my person. Blade length is subjectively right on, or just over, the line of legality here in TX. Hopefully the blade length restriction will be taken off the books next year like autos were taken off last year. Thank You Much!
