For sale is my Tapio Syrjälä maasepän puukko, handmade in Aura, Finland. This knife features hand-forged 80CrV2 steel blade with scandi grind (insanely sharp). There is a faint hamon on the blade. The tang is pressure-fitted and epoxied into the handle. The handle is stabilized and x-cut curly birch, and the collar is hammered-finish bronze. The sheath is leather and curly birch with brass ring and screw for the belt loop.
The overall length of the knife is 7.5" and the blade is 3.25". There are a few small spots and scratches on the blade from handling, but it has never been used.

Tapio's work is in the $300 range these days. I bought this for $200 from a previous owner. My price is $150 shipped, Paypal included. This is one of the best made and highest performing puukko you're going to find at any price, so this is an outright bargain.
