Tarheel Hunter model with long clip blade. I tested this one for hardness and it tested at 57-58 on the Rockwell C scale. It comes with the RH hand sewn sheath pictured.
Steel- 1095HC X 3/16
AOL- 9 inches
Heat Treat- Blade was ground then two normalizing cycles. Then blade was brought to temp allowed to soak for 5 minutes and immediately quenched in quality quenching oil. Then two 2 hour tempering cycles.
Blade- 4 1/4 inches to tip of scales with a 4 inch edge.
Handle- 4 3/4 inches
Scales- Olive green canvas micarta and red liners
Brass Corby bolts , 1/8 brass pin and 1/4 brass lanyard tube
RH sheath is hand sewn and fitted for this knife, made from quality 8-9 ounce vegetable tanned leather. Stained, neatsfoot oil, and leather sheen.
