Thank you for the interest in Shadetree Custom Composites. All of my products are handmade in Jackson Michigan, USA from quality materials.

I use a high quality, water clear aero-marine epoxy resin in everything I make. It is the same type of resin used to lay up aircraft wings and boat hulls; it is expensive, but it makes the best possible product for you, my customer. The resin cures hard, is highly chemical resistant and rated to a minimum of 280 degrees Fahrenheit.

Is the Tequila Sunrise done in dyed layers or was the dye added later during the process? Do you expect it to have some uniformity when revealed or will it be fairly random? I hope my question makes sense...all the products look great.

It was dyed during layup. 5 layers of red, 5 of orange, 5 yellow. Substrate materiel is white burlap. There is a little blending at the layers, but not as much as I had expected. So fairly uniform. I'll try to get a good pic of it up. I hope this helps.
