Tatonka162,
I have had the Bushmaster XM15-E2S for 2 years now and it is the BEST M-4 "clone" I have ever had.

As far as the sure-fire light mounts, yes they are very expensive, the one from Bushmaster which is just the 6P version is $278.00

The integral mount which replaces your current hangaurds is $450.oo and up!

I made my own mount and it works great!
Here is how I did it

I used the following

6P Surefire light.

6 inch tape switch for the light (this is the pad you push on the handgaurd to activate the light).

A 1 inch scope ring that I got at a gun show for $10.00 (aluminum with
allen screw mounts it has a mount on the back side to mount to a picatinny rail.

I got the rail from Bushmaster for $52.95 it is a block with picatinny rails on all sides.

I already had the 6P light so the whole set up cost me 150.00 total
if you had to buy the sure-fire light they run about 69.99 so your still talking $219.00 at that point.

One other option is the D&D Flashlight mount from GG&G www.gggaz.com
its the AR-15/M-16 flashlight mount. It only costs 33.25 at that point you can mount it to your hangaurds but requires drilling handgaurds.
It works ok I have one but wanted to use the tape switch It would work with a tape switch also.

If you want I can e-mail you pics of the set ups I use. I can hook you up with the people I got the tape switches from in 4 inch, 6 inch and 10 inch. They are JM Knives.
Let me know.

J
