I was just looking at the online version of Smoky Mountain Knife Works catalog and came across this:

http://www.eknifeworks.com/webapp/e...ext=&Mode=Cat&Brand=&PriceStart=&SKU=SCTSCHF2

a copy of a Chris Reeve one piece and it's not even one piece it's got an aluminum handle. This is in addition to the recent Al Mar Pathfinders knockoffs. Oh and theres also an M9 Bayonet knockoff also. The truely worst part for me is these pieces of sh__ are made under the Schrade name now :barf: There is hopefully a very deep dark hot place in hell for the owners of Taylor Cutlery.

Taylor Cutlery has no shame anymore.

umm, did they ever have shame to begin with?

I don't think I've ever been overly impressed with any of their offerings.

Cheap copies will always be with us.

Even the price is a ripoff - a good machined aluminum flashlight runs less than $18, bits are dirt cheap - the whole thing could have gone for $29.99.

At least it doesn't have a ball auto compass tail cap.

I was recently flipping through the Smoky Mountain Cutlery catalog & at least 90% of all those knives are 420 crap steel!!Might as well be looking at BUDK for that matter.
