I got an e-mail from Brian Boyd @ Taylor Brands today regarding the steel they are using in their Chinese Schrades. They claim its 440C @ 56-58 Rockwell. Although the finish on these knives and the sheaths stink, this is not bad for factory production stainless, if it is true.
