Taylor's Eye Witness Find

Jack my newly found knowledge fountain, you said there were purchasable if you knew where to look... where would one look, please? Is there a better place to buy this type of knife than the ones listed on a Google search?

Meako my good man, thanks again for your help :)

Have a good evening chaps.

On your certificate- Top left you see the Eye Witness logo.
That is what you will see on the earlier Eye Witness knives, the vintage Eye Witness Knives come up now and then and are in demand for sure - very hard to grab a nice one these days.

Hey Duncan
There's one in south australia right now...a really old one with antler handle
Local pickup though:(
Cheers.

Hi guys, as requested here are some more pics showing the box, certificate and both sides of the knife. Oh and the stamp on the tang. Are there different TEW stamps? Thanks guys :)

Thanks for posting these, though the significant things are Russell White's signature, the quality of the stag being used, and the tang stamp. If you look more carefully at my previous post there are two examples of TEW tang-stamps, one like yours, the newest one, and the previous TEW tang stamp in use, but there are many different TEW stamps.

Timothy, say please all you want mate, go and read the forum rules, and stop asking questions which break them and ask other members to break them, otherwise I suspect you'll be seeing the intervention of a moderator, and that's no way to behave is it?

Jack has given sound advice on questions regarding prices and where to buy. They don't belong in this sub forum.
There are guidelines at the top of the page. It would be a good idea to read them, if you're going to continue to post on this site. Thanks.

I purchased 2 of the Taylors Eye Witness barlows in the fall of 2014 and the Certificate DID NOT have Russell White's or anyone else's name on it . Shortly before that , he was responding on some forum like he was making knives for TEW . Then he was also making Barlows for TEW and himself . So I would think that your knife was made prior to late 2014 . I also purchased a TEW Lambfoot in 2017 and the certificate had no signature on it . I certainly wish that I did have at least one certificate with Russell White's signature on it though . I also have searched for TEW's for sale on the net many times and have not seen one like yours for sale with Stag . I can not tell you what your's cost new , but I can tell you that it was not cheap .
