TBE guys are wrong - Opinel isn't the best apple slicer...

I use serrated blades on tomatoes.
especially in the absence of a sharp plain edged blade.
takes brass ones to say even one of those things here in the land of edge over sharpening and geometry obsession.

The mere fact that there is a knife in your entire house that hasn't been sharpened at least three times since it was last used is a testament to your sanity and good sense.

Still . . . to admit it . . . here . . . in front of Bob and every body . . . :( :rolleyes: :(
