Four Tactical Drop Points

These knives are made for hard use. Perfect for EDC. They are 7 1/4 in OAL with a blade of 3 1/3 in. They are convex ground 1095. There is a light etch for character. The handles are (top to bottom)
Ipe
jatoba
curly maple
bubinga

The sheaths are leather pouch sheaths.

Buy one for $60 and yes, that includes shipping. Please pm me or email me at parang1@comcast.net for details.

The jatoba one is yours. Thanks.

The knife in my avatar is one I call the Cobra. 5 inches of tactical/utility cutting machine. The wood on that one is paduk.

Hey David,

What is Eppie wood?

it is a dark brown hardwood, I am not sure of the origin.

Perhaps it's ipe? It's also called Brazillian walnut and is popular right now as decking. It's incredibly hard (highest Janka rating I'm aware of) and difficult to work.

Anyway, I sent a PM regarding the bubinga-handled one. These are great-looking knives.

You are right on the ipe. i have only seen it spelled incorrectly, that is why I couldn't find much about it. I have an EDC with ipe on it and it is a very dense wood, and I love the feel.

Answered your pm....

Ipe is number three on the janka scale. it is very resinous and resistant to bugs and rot. makes a gorgeous knife handle.

4500 Lignum Vitae
3800 Snakewood
3680 Brazilian Walnut (Ipe)
3540 Brazilian Teak (Cumaru)
3220 Ebony
3190 Bolivian Cherry (Cerezo)
3000 Brazilian Rosewood (Tamarindo)
2820 Brazilian Cherry (Jatoba)

If you don't own a Farmer knife you need to do yourself a favor and get one. They are the only knives I have to "unsharpen" when they arrive.

Got mine a couple days ago. As usual it is razor sharp and a great EDC size.

For the price you can't beat a Farmer.

Just wait until he gets his new forge running.
