In all fairness I have heard the R6 called the poor man's TGLB. They are close in a way, like 3rd cousins.

I hope Jerry gives my bank account a break soon. Maybe offer some more crap I don't need for a few months, my kids and wife would like X-Mas presents. At this rate they are not getting any..lol.

If the 13olo, Bear Cub varient, or Res C TG drops, I'm screwed, will have to get those too..and eat Top Romen for Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners.

Rodent 6 is not really similar AT ALL. The TGLB has different handle, profile, grind, choil, pommel, straight vs reverse curve guards , spear tip instead of clip, a big ass fuller etc.etc.

Though I can't speak for Jerry, I would wager quite a large sum of money these will be the TGLB in SR-101 form….

This is what I asked in the other post. I'm thinking the other way actually, that they will not be the light brigade given the cost of the channeling (machine work) that went into the light brigade. I'm hoping its not, I have the light brigade and would like to have the solid version.

I'm in either way, although I'll probably have to sell a kidney. The Tglb is much quicker in the hand than the original Tg. So thats what I'm hoping for.

I've got a substantial backlog of blades that I haven't even been billed or any notification of pending shipment.
I am waiting on blades from BladeShow Ganzaa (several), BG ASH1, BG AD and Trash1 (several).
Until I get billed (several K), pay for and receive................the parking brake has been set.

I love that Busse is releasing new knives regularly, but agree it is tough to have a dozen knifes on order and to keep ordering more. I will get a TGBG, but I am going to have to cut myself off soon, at least until I receive some of what I am already waiting on.
