I can't remember a Ganza ever being this time sensitive. The demand for this knife was obviously very high; the double cut and black canvas is sure sweet! With so many orders under 1 sec we were all obviously at the mercy of email and internet providers. Did anyone over 1 sec in get one? :victorious:
 
WoooHoooo! I just checked my email and discovered that Busse sent me an invoice at 1:44 pm, or 1444 military time! I guess my internet provider is pretty fast! Now I have to call them with my credit card info. I was hoping I'd see the order in my Busse account, but I logged in and it doesn't show up there, so I guess I have to call with the card info. Happy, Happy, Happy!:D
 
I just called Busse (did not really expect anyone to answer at this time of night) and left them a voicemail message that I had received their invoice and would call back tomorrow during business hours with my credit card information, and that I was very happy that I had been selected. I feel very, very lucky. I normally don't "win" in anything like this. I wonder how long it will take to actually receive the knife. It will be a fine companion to the TGLB I got back in November.:D

BTW, I had sent myself a blind copy of the email requesting the knife and it was just time stamped 9:30, so I don't know how many seconds past 9:30 it was sent. My email provider doesn't break it down by the second - or at least I don't know how to find that out.

I think the supply was SUPER low on them too, I seem to remember something like 50 of them being available. It was super competitive. :thumbup:

The time stamp on mine said "20:30:02 -0600" (2 seconds in), and I got my invoice today.

Shipping is in 3 to 5 days. So you should get it next week.
 
Ive been in training all day and just checked my email. I was worried because i used my ipad and all it would tell me was 9:30 sent time. I only ordered one and luckily got it. Black canvas micarta! Hopefully that wasnt the case that someone ordered more than 1 or 2. Feel fortunate to have scored. Pics soon

Im curious - I sat this one out, but did anyone who got a confirmation, get approval for anything off the "secret menu"? - colored liners, hand-shaped scales, sterile blade, solid pins, Gettysburg Address microscopically etched around the talon hole, built-in grenade launcher, etc? Still getting a feel for how this all works.
