hey guys, i had a field knife and lost it in a backpacking trip some years ago. it seems that the model was discontinued and was replaced by the team leader

anybody care to compare the two? how does the duratech perform, as compared to BG42?

I have a Field knife and rather like it. Am looking forward to getting an AUS-8 Team Leader but it won't be for a while so I can't really comment on much of anything. My other SOG's in AUS-8 are holding up well so I figure the Team Leader will to.

Sorry I can't be of much help. Love the new knife just can't buy one, I am broke. LOL!!

i prefer the old version myself, but i don't think it is available anymore and just wanted to get some user feedback for the new duratech
