I have been dealing with Ted since 1984, and bought a Wakizashi from him in 1995 or 1996. I sent it back to him for some work, and he returned it with exactly the modifications I asked. To be honest, it wasn't exactly how I thought it would be and the sword has sat around since.

Two weeks ago I decided to clean it up, with the possibility of selling it, so I emailed Mineral Mountain Hatchetworks to find out what it would cost to fix this mistake. Ted said send it back, he would take care of it with no charge.

Got it back today, and he just overdid himself. It's a completely new design, utilizing the same blade and I wouldn't sell or trade this beauty for just about any sum of money (or until Ted adds it to his line). Ted has done this twice before with me on custom work and both models actually became part of his cataloged inventory.

Try Ted Frizzel at Mineral Mountain Hatchetworks from Low Gap, Arkansas. Good, hardworking, honest man--like in the good old days!

Ted and Barry are two of the best! They do and will take care of their customers. I've known this pair since about 1988 and they're almost too much fun to be around!

Agreed.

I found myself selling Ted's work online for the following reasons:

1. His stuff is top notch, hard-working tools at a great price.

2. His designs appealed to me more than any other maker I'd seen.

3. He is about as good a guy you'll ever meet. His business ethics and professionalism are unmatched.

I never thought I'd end up selling knives, but here I am. And I'm very happy (an honored) to be working with Ted.
