Positive energy flowing to Mrs. Jake. She's gonna hurt this morning. Have her checked out anyway, and document EVERYTHING. Do everything like you were going to have to go to court in 5 years. Keep every receipt, names, dates times, etc. I hope you don't need this advice.

Good advice from Steve. When I got a whiplash there was no pain for 2 weeks and then PT and it didn't really stop for 10 years. I still have to watch it that I don't strain my neck. DON'T SIGN OFF ON A SETTLEMENT!!! I did and have regretted it ever since.
 
Guys, thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes. My wife was a little sore last night, but we bough a box of those 8 hour heat patches to put on her neck. It looks like she didn't get any whiplash. She just tensed up when she saw the guy coming up on her so her arms and muscles around the side of her neck are burning a bit.
We have a call on file with her doctor who put it in her file like she had gone to see him just in case something starts to bug her in the next days and weeks. She has had not tingling, loss of feeling, or sharp pain making any movement. Since the insurance of the guy that hit her is one hour ahead of us she'll have to take some time today to clear all the stuff like the retal car, how much we are getting for her car if it is totaled (probably is), and medical services like getting her neck and back checked out to make sure it all in line and whatnot.
We appreciate it very much. I had a bad feeling that when we woke up this morning that I was going to have carry her around. She's getting along just fine.
So, once again, we are so thankful for your thoughts. We have her health, and that's all i care about. As long as she is feeling OK i can deal with the insurance nazis, and the slick car dealers, and all that crap. We really appreciate it, and we are in your debt...and couldn't be happier about it:)
