teflon coatings

I'm looking for info on teflon coatings for blades. Can I apply the stuff in my shop or, if not, then who does it?

I have a video from rick fowler
that hea makes a caped skinner
when blacken his blades in the video
he sand blast them and heat treats them
then dip them in a stuff called tool
black,it is a liquid and turns the blade black
and is a tough coating,his usese O1 for the blade,I spoke to him on the phone
about it,he also used rustulic afer the blacking,to penatrate the steel.
Yous can get it from MSC or Traves.
the is no backing involed in it.
I am going to do my blades in it
