Teflon Sheaths?

I was wondering why not make a sheath from a sheet of teflon. It would be quite, wouldn't scratch and would be less likely to break or crack. What do you guys think? Thanks.

Teflon sheath is interesting idea, but it is not good idea. Teflon is expensive material, isn't strenght (cracking). Is imposible modeling them. Is almost impossible to put together.
