tell me about a rat 3

All of the guys in our office carry the RC3. I also use mine on camping trips and it is my go-to knife for the outdoors. I bought an extra sheath for outdoor carry so I can easily move from an EDC environment to a outdoor environment without any hassles. So far the 3 has held a good edge and easy to sharpen when needed. Very useful around camp and lightweight. I think this is one of the best knives to come out in a long time.

All i know is that im getting one for Christmas in 1095 steel. I have been wanting one for a long time. I have heard nothing but good reviews about this knife. Im going to use it for EDC and a woods knife. I like the size of it and the sheath options.

For around $50 I don't see how you can lose really. Nothing wrong with the design, and if that steel is tempered properly it should hold a wicked edge.

i had one for a while, but ended up pasing it on.....:o they're great little users.... i just couldn't get past the black blade though, that's not really my style....

i love mine... i dont think you will find anyone on here that has anything bad to say about them, except for the handle being a little small if you have big hands

Handle was a bit too small for me.

I'm talking the width of it - lengthwise it was fine.

Loved the knife other than that, but exchanged it back to the dealer because of the handle.

The Ontario model was a little bit short on handle length. I have the RAT Cutlery model that is longer. The RAT Cutlery model also has better shething than the Ontario one.

'Cuz you need a picture.

BTW, the coating doesn't look as bad as it does in this photo.
