Tell me about the endura

Beautiful knife, my favourite folder to carry. Don't get me wrong, I love my PM 2, but the Endura is just too good not to carry. Great ergos, light but strong, a slicing machine. I have the Spyderedge, but would like to try plain edge. Unfortunately you can't get these knives into Australia any more. This is one knife that I can't imagine you would ever regret owning.

I like a lot of knives, I will always love my first spyderco.... Endura 4 ffg. That is why I'm on this site and reading your thread over coffee playing with my new Sage 1. Its the best work knife I've even had.. bar none!

Endura's the quintessential folding knife and one of the most versatile EDC blades around. It can perform accurate cutting tasks as it can cut through almost anything you may throw at it. It's so portable and light weight that is a delight to carry as an EDC blade. And to top it off it could perform as a self defense blade just as well. The great handle allows to enhance its reach and give you the piece of mind and the safety as if it were a 6 inch blade. Enduras rock! I have a bunch of assorted blades, buth the Endura is my go to folder. Regards.

For what your use is, get the Endura. You will be very happy. I had a PM2, which was and is a great knife, but I still have the Endura. Another knife you might want to look at is the Caly 3.5, which is a bit smaller than the Endura but larger than the Delica (E: 5" closed, 3.4 oz, 3.75" blade. C: 4.3" closed, 3.1 oz., 3.5" blade). That is a nice cutter, too, and it has that huge pivot pin.

Millie.. I like the blade. But TIP DOWN ONLY.. Fail

Endura.. 4 way clip. Plenty of scale colors.
Vg10, SB,ZDP steels
Serrated, Combo, Plain,, FFG or sabre grind

Endura wins
I was fondling the millie yesterday. Pulling it from my pocket it falls perfectly into my hand. I wouldn't want it tip up. I even made my delica tip down but for another reason. The little hitch at the back of the blade kept snagging on my pants. Didn't skip a beat in use. I really don't get why people stress on the tip up thing.

I looked at the Caly but if I'm not mistaken it's pinned and can't be disassembled? I like to be able to take my pocket knives apart periodically for cleaning.

Love the Endura, one of the lightest EDC for the size. I have one for 20 years already and bought 3 more current gen in different colors. I like Delica too but I always feel it is a bit small, which is good for carry. The Endura is only slightly bigger but is better for say food prep because of the larger (and ffg) blade.

If there is one pinned knife out there to change your mind, it would be the Caly. It's an amazing knife. And if you're fortunate enough to have access to an air compressor then disassembling should be of little concern.
