I have an opportunity to get a NIB Strider RCC and was wondering if anyone has one and your experinces with it? Is it a good knife considering the price point. I don't see much mention of them here.

You are talking about the 3,5" liner version, not a 4" frame lock, right? I never handled one, but from the specs and pictures, it looks like a very good, beefy knife with optimal size blade for edc and acceptable weight at 6oz. I also like the solid ti backspacer on it. It's in stock almost everywhere and can be had for $325, which is cheap in my opinion for a custom linerlock like this. I may get one myself sometime.

I had one for around a month... While it is certainly a NICE and well made knife, it is BIG and uncomfortable in every way. You could not ask for a better made or stronger knife. For what you get in quality and materials, it is a steal for $300... but the knife is just "wonky" (IMO) in the hand and toooooo big folded... My 2c.

I owned an RCC for a whole weekend before sending it back. No issues on build quality at all. BUT for the 300 buck plus price tag the ZT200 blows it out of the water. I ain't kiddin either. The 200 is more heavily built with a bigger blade. Quality of finish of fit and finish is about the same on the 200 as on the RCC I had in my hands. Other Striders I think are a better bang for the buck especially the frame locks. keepemsharp
