Found this in a local pawn shop today. Buck USA 307. This is the biggest stockman that I have ever seen made by Buck. 4 1/4 inches.

Some very light scratches on the blades, but other than that its in good shape.

510,Thats an early 307 made by Camillus around 1971.For more you'll info wait for 300Bucks to answer. As he knows this series well.Nice find.DM

Ok, Now I am under pressure.

The 307 Wrangler Stockman is a larger version of the standard Buck stockman the 301. Some users like the heft of the 307 and the slightly larger blades. Most guys feel the 307 fits in a belt sheath or the back pocket beside their wallet better than nestled down in the bottom of a front pocket.

There are three standard historical models, all were contract produced by Camillus with thru-the-bolster hinge pins, I have not seen a 307 with a date stamp. All have the long finger pulls on the main blade. All models discontinued.

1st model - Tang reads Made in USA, Model # on pile side 71 - 74
2nd model - Tang reads BUCK, 307, USA 74 - 98
3rd model - Tang reads BUCK, 307, USA BUCK spelled out on Escutcheon on scale 85-87
Extra hard to find is Yellow scale,BUCK,307,USA . Two extraextra hard to find special editions by SMKWorks were a Paul Bunyon blade etch and a John Henry blade etch. I have neither and would like to find them. If someone has them would appreciate good photos to go in knife history on BCCI website. There also might be some factory stag scale special orders but I do have one or know of one to swear so.

I have a extra 2nd model I carry sometimes in a nice belt sheath made for a 112.

I'm drooling over that. I already love my 301 that came in the mail the other day; I'd love a great ol' big one even more. :D

Thanks for the info guys. Im gouing to clean this one up,touch the blades a little and make a sheath for it. I see this one getting some carry time.
