These have the SCHRADE WALDEN tang stamp...but to me they look nothing like the original Schrade Walden bone handle knives from the late 40's thru earl;y 60's....they look never. Any ideas?

Yes, they are new. Or relatively so. They were in the WIP auctioned off. These are the last series of Cigar Box Classics. "Green Mountain" bone, "heart" shields, SW tangstamps. There were to be 1,000 of each pattern produced.

I've never seen the green ones before. Funny they used the same exact patterns as the brown cigar box classics.

As long as we're on the subject, has anyone seen these in real life? 100th Anniversary Schrade Classics

Yes, several of us have one or two from the WIP. They are most often found without the packaging, shields and etches though. Productus interuptus. I'm not sure which patterns were finished and sold though, if any before the closing.
