• Happy Thanksgiving to all of you! I hope that you all have something to be grateful for this year and for many years to come
  • America has reached 250 years, and I am grateful to be here, in the best country in the world. Thank every one of you who helps make this country a better place, those who have gone before and risked it all, and those who've paid the ultimate price to make the United States what we are today.

    Happy Birthday America! Let Freedom Ring for all time!

tell me your GB use stories...please

Wussamatter Geoff, that big ole nasty SERE was too small for ya?

I still have it BTW, I am in process of reconfiguring the office at the house and am going to put it and a few other niceties in an mahogany and glass case on the wall, very nice blade. Thanks again, and buy the damn GB, when you get tired of it I will buy it off you.

GB= great knife.

I used mine to split kindling, chop up some small branches to start a camp-fire, then I cut a couple of chickens into peices along with peeling garlic cloves to cook in my dutch oven for dinner... GREAT knife!

-Dave

P.S. ---- This was definitely using this knife for purposes it was not intended for... It is one SERIOUS folder... Could do just about anything, I am sure... but it works great even for minor camp-chores, too.

Parker, my friend...If I buy it and don't like it for some reason, I have your #!

Dave...just the kind of info I was looking for...

more stories if you got'em, gents

About the funniest looks I got with my GB is when I was at my sons soccer game there was a couple of kids wearing baseball cleats with a cleat on the front of the shoe which is'nt allowed in the league. One of the fathers was trying to cut one off with a swiss army knife that just did'nt have enough umph to get it done. I whipped out my GB and it slid through like butter. I ended up cutting cleats off of 6 kids shoes while people just stood and watched with that "Holy SH#*" look on their faces. I though the "soccer moms" were going to bust their spandex. Not a really "high speed" story but it was funny:D

Mine has been within 3 feet of me at all times since I got it. Let's see, I have cut rope, weedeater cord, boxes, rags, wire ties, chopped some wood, broke a window with the butt,pried two doors open, and the other day I didn't take the cable cutters with me when I got off of the engine at a wreck so I used the GB to cut the battery cables on the car. I did have to touch up the edge after that last one though! Imho, it is the best folder I have ever had, and I plan onkeeping it my EDC for a long time. :D
