temper of 0-1

Hello again guys this is old fart skilldust need some help on tempering o-1. Have 12inch blade 5 inch handle 1 1/2inch width 5/32 thick. I know this will be used for chopping and everything that comes along. what would you suggest to bring the rc down to. I was thinking 55 or 56 maybe differential heat treat the spine with torch. Would appreciate comments, this is alot bigger than usual for me. Thanks very much, skilldust.

I'd go 56 - 57 HRC (600ºF temper temp) and bring the spine to a royal blue with a torch while keeping atleast 1/2" - 3/4" of the sharp side in cool water.
