Temper question for 1095, o1 and 5160?

I know there are a lot of threads on this, but here is one more. What edge thickness would you take it down to prior to HT for a FFG? Specifically:
1 - for a small 3.5 to 4 inch hunter and light camp knife in 1095? 2 - for a large survival knife in the 7 to 8 inch range in o1? 3 - for a heavy chopper like a Junglas in 5160?
 
Could you temper all of these at 400F x 2hrs x 2? All would be FFG. 1095 would be for 3 to 4 inch hunter/camp knife. o1 would be large survival knife. 5160 would be large chopper.
 
0.020" is about minimum, I use it without issue. Many use 0.030". 1095 requires a much faster quench than 5160 or O1, so the edge thickness is more critical with 1095. Stay at or above .020" you'll be OK.
