CJ. The one that we showed in Atlanta with the green G-10 scales is the Temperance Jr (The smaller one). Like the larger one pictured above, they are "in house" designs.
The smaller "Jr" will be made first. 3" Blade length. It was designed with MBC in mind. Compression Lock strength exceeds our "in house" MBC lock strength requirement. There will be "trainers" made (red handles). There will be two blade shapes. Double nested stainless liners. CPM-S60V. Still "kicking around" scale materials.

I really liked this model. The size is right for me ( the jr.). I have not decided which blade shape yet but I'm leaning towards the upswept kind. The clip looks good and has a function.

I got a warning from my ISP about the amount of traffic in the last 5 days on my little personal web page where I had those images in temporary storage, so I've moved them to my commercial page. The link above should now read: http://www.chaicutlery.com/BladeShow2000/Spyderco-Temperence-proto.jpg
Elsewhere in these pages, for any URL that says "...home.earthlink.net/~jkmchai/BladeForums2000/xyz.jpg," substitute "www.chaicutlery.com" in the url, and it should work.
the TEMPERANCE JR is a wonderful knife and a fitting member of the new MBC line..I love playing with it..great sculptured handles...it moves real well and it hooks like a bigger knife!
It feels like an old glove,,it snuggles into your hand..
(ditch that puffin blade shape though...LOL!
personal joke for Sal!!!)
