Tempering L-6

At what temperature do we temper L-6 and for how long?

Always temper for at least 1 hour. Tempering at 400F will give you Rc hardness of 57, 600F -53.5, 800F - 47.

380F is my magic number but 400F is good too.

I do 3 one hour cycles

and you can not temper for too long a period of time.
