Selling my HTM Gunhammer. This came from the factory with an extremely high grind and was not sharp at all. I reprofiled it with a Lansky kit to just about 34 degrees inclusive on extra-coarse all the way down to ultra-fine and then stropped on white, green and red compound followed by numerous passes over a barber's strop. To me, it is now rather sharp considering my relative lack of experience with sharpening. There are some scratches along the blade above the edge and towards the spine from where it was mounted in the knife holder that the Lansky sharpening kits use. The only work this knife has seen (other than being reprofiled and sharpened) was from me testing my sharpening work on some manila envelopes and cardboard. The blade flips open pretty smoothly and the liner locks up nice and early. This knife uses HTM's manually opening Maxx Glide system.
This Gunhammer has a 3-1/2" torpedo blade which is tungsten DLC-coated, in Carpenter's CTS-XHP steel. This is a steel which was designed to yield rust resistance equivalent to a 440C stainless while allowing for greater wear resistance and edge retention than D2 tool steel. The aluminum frame is finished in OD green CeraKote. The liner lock insert is titanium alloy. Comes with original box and warranty card. The original box is not depicted but the knife will be shipped in it.
Asking $200 or best offer shipped to the lower 48 states. I cannot accept any trades at this particular time. Will ship to AK, HI and Canada for the actual cost of Priority Mail to those destinations per the United States Postal Service Website.
