Tempted by a BUCK of Another.

Those are some really nice ones TonyB  I wish I had known they were making these, I've been out of the loop since the early 90's with purchasing BUCK knives and only then it was to buy a VANGUARD & SKINNER KNIFE for hunting, Someone swiped my 119 & 1974 *110*. My son has been collecting samurai sword this past year, I just gave him for his B-DAY a nice hefty Damascus Stag handled Bowie he loves it! hes never had a Damascus blade in his collection.

Thank you for sharing these beauties with me....awesome!

TonyB has just come out of a long hard winter and can get carried away, showing us the 'Good Stuff'. DM :)

LOL so funny I haven't used Photobucket in a half of dozen years "until now" do to the BLADE FORUM......But I still have my account! I thought for sure they had deleted it...LOL
And Yes! its been a very long winter....I thought February and March were never going to end with the cold rain & snow...

I love seeing photos of people collections, especially the real old classic's..........I down load the 1960's 110's when a real nice one comes up on E-BAY etc an also keep a "pricing trend" on them. Best one I have seen was a Vet from the Vietnam War who bought his in 1967 at the PX overseas with all the paper work etc....It was like right of the box. It went in a E-BAY Auction for $698.00 I believe.....

THANK YOU ALL! for the photos an help with the information on sending Bucks in for re-conditioning. Its been a real eye opener! that fore sure! what a great job they do! thanks.....

Hi USMule,

Here is yet another Buck that got a face lift at the Buck Spa;). I got this knife off one of the auction sites, it looked to be an old painters knife as it had paint and caulking all over the picked bone, the blade had no more tip (looked like it was used to open paint cans), there was not one spot on the brass that did not have dents/dings even the back spine and the frame had been spread (see the inset bolster pins). I sent in the knife for a spa job.

Before

After

Not one dent/ding left on the knife and they replaced the blade......WOW!
