A year or so ago I was not the biggest fan of Spyderco Knives, the styling did not suit me and they seemed unusual, funny how things change after learning more about knives in general and reading some of the threads on this forum, I decided to try them out.
I bought a couple of Byrd knives a few months ago that I was pleased with then a pair of Ladybugs for my key rings.
My Tenacious arrive today and I am really happy with it, nice feel and balance and seems to be very well made.
I am already thinking about my next purchase.
Keep up the great work Spyderco.

There's kind of a Spyderco aesthetic trend where they appear hideous at first, and over time and especially use, become very attractive. I love how Spydercos look now.

I like Spyderco looks. Things like the police SS. The para, the sage.

The day hiker looks really good.

They grow on you I guess.
Well made and practical.
For me one of the things that brought me around was Mr Glesser being actively involved with the people that post here.
It is not something you see often where the Founder & President of a company answers the punters questions and sorts things out at that level.
That works for me.

I bought a Tenacious as a knife to fart around with, but it has held up pretty well. It finally got kind of dull last week after a few months of intermittent use, but it sharpens right up very quickly. So far it seems like a great value and I tend to carry it more than I do some of my more expensive knives, the size and blade shape are a solid design.

That's the same with me. When i first started my knife addiction, i would only look at kershaw, boker, benchmade strictly. I always hated the look of spydercos. But i just fell in love with the caly3. Now, what is the majority in my collection? You guessed it. Heck, i don't even have a kershaw anymore, as i gave my last one (plain edge leek) away to a friend for his bday.
