Tent Suggestions

When I got my Eureka Rising Sun (can't say enough good things about it!) I was pretty broke as well and trying to outfit myself to hike the West Coast Trail. I wound up contacting a local sports equipment rental place and bought the used one at the end of the season. It had one small spark burn in the floor which had been properly repaired and sealed and I was able to get it for about a quarter of the price of a new one. Just a thought.

Funny thing. I bought the same tent in 91 at Taiga in Vancouver small world.

Great tent still going strong but tight for 2 people.

I actually have a Eureka Apex 2XT that would be perfect for you. Let me know if you need it. I've used it about 5 times but don't camp anymore.

I second a cheapo tent from wal mart or even target. I have a 4 person dome tent that I have used for about 3 years in all sorts of weather. Since I don't do alot of camping in the winter the fiber glass poles hold up very well.
