Terrasaur pics....

They are really nice blades! Brian really gets the texture nice on his micarta. I love the look of his natural canvas.

The more central swell on the terrasaur, I believe, is based on the influence from the Skookum when Joe designed it.

Nah, it just turned out to be central when I drew it. I never really noticed where it was at on any other knife except a wooden handled mora I like. For me, a knife twist less in the hands with a central swell. I'll go check it out on the Skookum, I never really paid attention to the swell position on it. I DID pay attention to the handle texture on both their blades though. Brians is top notch, not to slick.

While we're discussing the knife, I've got to ask: what function does the extended tang supposed to serve?

It's hardened, so I would think it could strike a firesteel or flint. It could also be used to hammer.

I used mine to pound in a tent stake this weekend. I've cracked walnuts with it too. Maybe we have could busted those stubborn clams open with it :) I just looked at my skookum. The skookum is a little bit more trim as far as the palm swell goes. Mine looks like it had more beers.

Good ideas. It's a fantastic knife, and so far I love mine (even though I swore off scandi's :o ). I think that Brian's leatherwork needs to be mentioned, as well. My leather sheath is top-notch, and actually "locks" in like kydex. Also complete with a drain hole in the bottom. Pretty spiffy.

You just got yours? Cool! Is it calmed down enough to come visit the new digs. I have a whole basement now dedicated to cutting stuff :)!

Yeah, actually I bought Spooky's (GCM/blue liners as seen in his photos in this thread). Yeah, I'll probably be able to swing a visit in the near future. I've been working like crazy (7 days a week) at my new job, and we're in the process of closing on our own new digs. :D So, I havent had much time here lately. I'm hoping things are slowing down a bit, though. I need a break. :)
