Seth hang in there I'm still waiting also, I call Jerry yesterday and he assured me that all the monkeys have shipped but sometimes it can take up to a week to arrive :( :(

I haven't received mine yet either. I just got back from 2 weeks on the road and was hoping to find it on my doorstep but no joy. My credit card hasn't been charged either so I'm starting to think my order might have been lost. I sent an email yesterday but haven't heard anything back.

Monkeys arrived Friday. Thanks Miki, Jerry & crew.:)

You might want to give them a call it seems to work best

My Monkey arrived here today... I didn't think the US postal guys delivered on sunday..
what an awsome knife, even better then I thought it would be, My compliments to the chef!!!!!!

on a side note, as I was leaving the post office I saw a group of women standing out front and thought they would like to see what a top quality knife looks like so I strolled over and said "Hey ladies, wanna see my monkey? if your carefull you can even touch my monkey..."
For some reason they all went screeming off into the street and didn't stop running for quite some distance... I guess they didn't like Busse knives,,, they were probably some kind of religous peace freaks or something, gun control nuts, you know the types....

I guess I'll walk around town and see if anyone else wants to see my monkey.

peace freaks... it's their loss, I guess they won't get to see my monkey

Seth,

I am only a Busse yearling. I believe the top pic of the NO and the bottom of the BM are pretty much standard ergo. The other 3 have similar handles except the BM with the pointed tang is lighter than the bottom BM by over an ounce. These contoured handles feel very secure and confortable in my hands - but so do the ergos. I wear a large glove. The SHs with the normal tang do feel a little more secure than the BM with the pointed tang and keep the hand from slipping off the knife in a pull back.

I don't have the knives with me at this time, but as I remember the balance point moves from the fore finger towards the choil as the blade progresses in length from the NO to the BM. I discovered that these were made out of 3/16" stock instead of the 1/4" that I expected so actually these are lighter in the hand and balance is better. Of course chopping power is less. The BM with the ergo handle comes in at about 18.5 ounces as I recall.

are you guys getting your packages through usps first class, usps priority, ups ground, or ups second day???

Mine came USPS priority with delivery confirmation... I got it in NY the day after it shipped. But three weeks after I gave them my payment info, then two days after it was actually billed to my card.
