OK, attempting to generate some extra funds before the baby comes end of the month, soo, some cool stuff must go.

Let's start with Terry Guinn's first balisong, stamped clearly #001 across the front of the blade. This knife is a beautiful latchless balisong, with rounded finished handle ends, Linen micarta slabs over stainless liners, Dual tang/stop pin design with Terry's innovative "Roll Pins" installed. Mr. Guinn is known well for his incredible chisel grinds, and this "American style" chisel ground Tanto profile is no exception. Shaving sharp and very sexy lines. Terry's older logo with "2000" underneat the cross is clearly etched on the back side of the blade. I wish I could put into words how smooth this bali feels. It;s almost Korth smooth, and being quieter than my Korth or Tachyons, makes this thing almost silent and very covert.

Mr. Guinn's #002 has the exact same story with a tad wider handles, lighter insert material, and of course a #002 instead of #001 firmly stamped on the front of the blade Other than those details, they are identical.

I am trying to sell these as a pair and am willing to throw in Terry's only proto bali as a bonus to whomever buys them both. The proto only has slabs mounted on one side, and the blade is an unground Tanto blank that flips like a dream trainer. The blank is stamped protoype across one side, and resembles the design of #001 and 002 right down to the cool horns. This set is a definate "backbone item" for any serious custom balisong collection. pics of proto later today.
sold!
email me for pics of the proto since "I still may not post attachment" for some reason.[/B] Postal MO's or paypal only please. Very early and very serious pieces of custom balisong history here folks. Thanks for looking!

D*** IT!!!

Some days it just doesn't pay to go on vacation. Who needs vacation when I could have had those...

Someone is going to be real happy with these.:o

BTTT with serious price adjustments...

Thanks fellas, for the compliments. Terry did an excellent job on these. Did I mention these are near mint, and have been flipped only a few times, very lightly, and never cut anything. The only visible wear throughout either knife, are slight scuffs inside the tang cups from the roll pins making contact in the closed position.

Why has'nt anyone snagged these yet  my lord!!

Kind of surprised (and glad) myself... Respectfully sir. I'm just "feeling" the CB market here... Not in too big-a-hurry to see these go. :)

I dont blame you!! If someone is lucky enough to get these they will not regret it....that im sure of! If you've never handled terry's work you dont know what your missing.

And these are such an awsome piece of bali history at a price i would call a steel.I hope you decide to keep these Doug and if not i hope they go to someone who will appreciate them as much.

To be honest, I think a lot of the forumites are low on money right now, for whatever reason. I can't even give some stuff away, despite pricing it WAY below what I paid.

BTTT w/price adjustment.
#001 now $400 conus
#002 now $385 conus
all three for $745 (includes Terry's #000 prototype balisong)

I can't believe these haven't sold already. I'll take them, email sent.

Man, don't lower your prices any more. It seems a shame. I thought there were lots of serious balisong users and buyers out there that would jump at those. I'm unable to have those here in Canada but I envy those of you who can. Good luck.
