I saw a C19 Terzuola Jr.( Ats34 ce,G-10 handle).
But the clip on it says Benchmade U.S.A.
is this correct.
Did they make it for Spyderco?
Anyone have any history on these knives.
Any info appreciated.
regards,Rick.
If I remember right, yes, the first run of Terzuola collaboration knives were manufactured by Benchmade under contract to Spyderco. This was before the manufacturing facility in Golden was up and running.
Yablononowitz is right with his answer - I agree. But there is one point: Rick wrote from a C19 CE with G-10 handles and this is not a knife from the first run, as those had had Aluminium handles.
Thanks Peter ,any pics of the other sides?
Any pics of them with the blades open for size comparisson?
Also is that the way the clips came? In that position? Tip down.
The clips & screws are silver correct?
What patent #'s are on them?
thanks,regards,rick.
How many variations can be found for each Terzuola model.
I know for the C15 & C19 they had the aluminum (first model)& G-10 handles (second)& came in Pe &CE .
I also believe the aluminum handles came marked Made in the USA & unmarked . Can anyone confirm this?
Also it appears blade markings came in stamped & etched form.
Is that correct.
I have gathered this from pics & am not certain.
Any help appreciated.
Also any history on these models more than welcome.
Thanks,to all,regards,Rick.
