Terzuola Fighting Knife

Another consideration may be this...

Maybe it is time for someone to fill the vacuum left by Al Mar.

It can be said that noone will replace, but the fixed blade designs he offered are somthing that is really gone.

And beyond that, who is offering fixed blades these days? And among those, how many models? The answer sofar as I can tell is not very many.

All this leaves Camillus in a great position, create a good line of fixed blades and you are filling a niche.

With the Becker stuff (Magnum Camp Knife) and this Terzuola they are making great strides.

This is a very interesting discussion on the knife. As a knife nut who has a using collection this is a great knife for me to add to the arsenal.

The price question is interesting. I think that if it is going for around the $125 mark you are really in good shape. I am not familiar with Corduroy or his work but I have seen many lesser name knifemakers work and it is not as good as this production knife. Sorry but hand made doesn't always mean better. Also, for many people this is a great way to own a Terzuola when they can't afford an original or if they can they would have to mount it on the wall which is no place for a knife such as this. I will not hesitate to buy this knife at this price range. I think it will be an improvement over the old Gryphons (which I have the small one and it is a very good knife for its intended purpose with the addition of a blade tech sheath). I hope that this is just the beginning for Camillius and Mr. Terzuola
