That's right up there with "Never get involved in a land war in Asia," and "Never open anything from the ACME Corporation." (Especially if you ordered it!)
dont forget the bulkheads didnt go from floor to ceiling which was one of the major factors for the ship sinking water went up and over the first so called water tight compartment and so on and so on the rest as they say is history

Thanks, Lal; I thank that was, in fact, the "flaw" that got exploited.:thumbup: They fixed it in their next ship, the Britannic, but it sank anyway (after hitting a mine in WWI), because it was hot, and all the portholes were open!
It's a strong argument for modern A/C, when you think about it......
