test team.

Hey, I was asked to test the blade, not kiss butt... and I tested it.

In the factory condition I got the killa zilla, it was an underwhelming performer. Others received zillas that were sharper and had better blade profiles from the factory, and theirs seemed to perform much better than mine.

After putting a fair amount of work into sharpening the killa zilla, it is a much better performer, and it is an impressive, massive chunk of INFI that any chubby chaser INFI fanatic should be happy to own.

So there are two different things at work here - one was that my blade, from the factory, needed work before it was a capable knife. The other is that, for my tastes, the zilla is a thicker, heavier knife than I prefer. One is a complaint about the knife I received, and one is a personal preference.

I won't be buying an FFBM any time soon, but that's not to say it's a crap knife - just not what I look for in a big knife.

I am looking forward to seeing some more reviews from other Test Team owners of the KZ. I don't worry about the "defenders". You test a knife, you call it as you see it, you post pictures. If Jerry did not really want honest feedback, he wouldn't have done the Test Team sales. I'm sure you gave Jerry the same information in emails, as I did.

You scotch soaked posers have no figging clue how much grinding and chopping the real Test Team Members did in the interest of "science" to help Jerry perfect the Killa Zilla! We drank George Dickel No. 12 Tennessee Whisky! This is America! Love its whisky or.....never mind. :D

Is this an invitation?;)

An honest review - much appreciated

Yeah, my honest reviews probably ain't helping me sell my zilla, and I could really use the cash, but I am just simply not a lover of fat knives.

If ya'll buy one and actually plan to use it, not keep it in a safe, either learn how to sharpen a big knife, or get someone to sharpen it for you.

Or buy mine, since I already sharpened it ;)
