Trying to insert a pic and all I get is the code. What is my dumb ass doing wrong?

Youre using the wrong code.
Use the direct link code inserted between the IMG brackets and it should work.

No problem.
But you have one too many IMG brackets in the beginning of the code. That is why it is showing the bracket next to the pic. Remove one of them and you should be set.
