Testing CPM 3V

Yes. Thickness isn't a problem although it is oversized, not precision ground so it will be a few thousndths thicker at given thicknesses like your recent Polaris.

Cool, when you are offering 3v, I'll be in for a tusker. Love that Polaris, been using it in the kitchen since it came, cant wait to get it in the woods though
 
I'm going to do another Polaris with the 3V I have and try another tempering process. Look for another video this week. I'll be doing the same tests in the second vid.

Scott, I am so glad you are going to be using 3V. This is currently my favorite steel. I cannot wait to get another Gossman in 3V. Maybe you will have a few at the Blade Show. :)

I'm glad too. I think it will end being the most requested steel. I'll might have a couple made up in 3V for Blade. I've got more 3V steel ordered.
