Testing for Edge retention sample quantity for proper statistical analysis

For the most part by now a lot of people on BF know BS when they read it so some of those so called tests are ignored these days.

Most of those are nothing more than flame bait really so it is best to ignore them.

I'm still laughing at this, so true.... ;)

To the OP, good idea, but wow, testing is a super effort. I did some testing and shared it with the forum a few years ago, and got so tired of people trying to order me around (do it this way, try that), that I published exactly what tests were done, the barcodes of all the products that I used from Lowes, etc. Then when someone had a great idea, I'd tell them to go buy everything and report back to me. Very few people appreciated it, so I gave up publishing it but still test in private. It's a LOT of work.

Yeah I know what you mean.

All kinds of ideas etc.....

Ideas and opinions never stop, but somehow the money just never seems to come in to support those ideas etc.

HMMMMMM... ;)

Funny how people occasionally find this thread and decide that it isn't being done properly and wanna tell Jim how he should be doing it. They make a few posts and never come back much less post any test data from the way they think its supposed to be done. LOL
Thanks for all you do Jim. My hat's off to ya.

I know I have been away for a while but what others have done tests that are ignored recently?

Well, I did not get the impression that OP was trying to tell anyone how testing should be done. That is all subjective and if anyone feels it can be better than maybe they should quit their day job and start their own testing system. Because to partake in such a venture means that you cannot possibly have a job. If OP is willing to do that, great. As for suggestions, what is wrong with that. No one in here is an authority on testing. giving ideas is like brainstorming, it does not hurt, whether they are used or not.

There are many blowhards on this forum who talk the talk but never walk it as is evidenced by the lack of them having any videos of them doing anything. Just scenic pics, lol. Then there are those that walk the walk and have physical proof of things they do, I listen to what they have to say.
