Testing Some Cheap Kitchen Knives

Ok, I just finished the test with the Farberware knife. I only wanted to go through 4 plastic bags, since I dont have very many laying around like I did before. After 100 cuts it would still cut the bag with effort and I suspect more than 130 would be needed to completely prevent it from cutting the bag. After the test, the edge didnt feel as dull as the other knives in this test. It would still slice paper and shave hair. Of course so would the others, but the large burr from cutting was not detected after the test, like on the other knives. I'm pretty impressed. Resharpened to bag filleting keeness after a few strokes on the 15 degree slots on the sharpmaker. BTW, anyone know a good place to get replacement brown stones for the Sharpmaker? My son (2) used them as percussion instruments and now they have chips and such all over most of the honing surfaces.
