That bamboo knife looks pretty nice, did Fred make that?

Yep,
he made it in half an hour....
We've been throwing the knives against trunks cutting dead wood....
We were 5 year old kids...
The three knives held up very well.
The A2 was still razor sharp...
(I mean RAZOR !!)
cut my self just by test testing the edge making the hairs flying !!
Damn the convex grind ! ;-D
On this picture you can see the 420j layer are softer and easy to scratch.
But the VG10 is absolute lethal !!!

Cliff, Fred sells everything.
He made this knife in 30 minutes !
The blade was unground sleeping in his workshop somewhere.
As we were suppose to test three knives (a long awaited Trakker never came
) fred takes the initiative to do a "minute maid camp knife".
The handle was made with a bamboo he drilled and adjust. one pine and let's head for the forest.
their we have been playing like in the movie "Predator"
"-CONTAAAAACT !!!" chop! chop! chop! chop! chop! chop! chop !!
the handle had some play after we've been throwing the knife against trunks...
But it last all the testing afternoon and it's still in good shape !
