Testing the market for my knives

I have been making knives for several years now and have sold only one at a charity auction. It fetched a decent price. I have built up an inventory of knives and am ready to test the market to see what sells. Any recommendations on my next step? Knife show ? Garage sale ? Online ? I realize this has been discussed before but I guess I am asking what seasoned makers believe is the first next step for someone ready to test the market. Many thanks in advance and I apologize if this is the wrong place to post this question.

1-Get good pics of your knives
2-Pay for a bladeforums knifemaker membership
3-Post knives for sale on the knifemaker for sale forum
4-Profit

That's the easiest first step.

Great pictures I believe is HUGE. You can post a great knife taken with a camera phone and you will not be doing yourself any justice. Get some good photos, pay for a membership here and sell some knives!! Best of luck.

Take a look at what is selling and for what price in the for sale section, that will give you a good idea, a website is invaluable if you are going to sell online, it lets people get to know you and your work a bit more.
