Testing the Waters for a TGLB Passaround

Way to go safetyman
I've had a few passarounds (SHBA & SHSH) and mostly it all went well.
My one gripe and the reason I haven't done another yet is that although well intentioned there have been a few folks that took some liberties with my knives (splitting logs and driving the blade into the ground, extended stays of multiple weeks, etc), in the end the knives returned home safe and sound and if you play your cards right the last guy sends the knife to BUSSE and they give it a nice spa day and they it returns to you good as new.
If you have any questions or wanna chat just let me know.

Dave, my first passwround was inspired by your passarounds. That is a great idea to have the last person send it in to Busse for a freshening up.

Yup, the shop does a great job and a few extra days is totally worth it.
You have me thinking about doing another SHSH passaround with "Precious"

For all you guys on the fence get your names in and adhere to the rules and we all win.

two thumbs up

Dan, all the participants would need to follow the BladeForums passaround rules here:

http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/262872-Rules-For-Passarounds

It's pretty simple actually. Each participant pay the shipping to the next person in line and the last person in line pay the shipping to me. I would give each person a week with the knife.

Great rules I would recommend that whoever uses the knife to post a write up in the forum. It would be very interesting to read all of the different perspectives.

I would be interested in this passaround, Safetyman. I am in the category of having one that I haven't used quite yet. I would like to have seen what that TLGB looked like with only the lower guard. Anyway, count me in.

Yes, I requested exactly that in a previous passaround that I did also. Although most participants posted only a few words about the knife it turned out just fine.

If I'm counting correctly, it looks like there are a total of five interested thus far.

Currently I don't have much interest in owning the TG, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't love the chance to give it a workout, so I'd be in.
