So, could someone explain wtf happened? It's all gibberish to me.

What I don't get is why this kinda of stuff keeps happening. Every once in a while there's the database or cloudfire errors for a brief time, but this one was pretty serious.

Is it actual hacker attacks, or is a server problem. I mean, Bladeforums is pretty big - the biggest knife forum on the planet. But the other forum I frequent (XDA - Android development/hacking) dwarfs BF. 345,000+ active members vs 18,450). And they're never down. I have no idea what software they use, but I don't think it's the same as here, so maybe it's vBulletin that sucks? I do see that they're hosted by Leaseweb, so maybe that's why?

I'm just spitballing here. I just don't understand why this forum keeps going down while ones that see far more traffic don't. I'm not complaining; I know there's nobody more frustrated with this than Kevin.
